CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF DANCE, PASSION AND PERFORMANCE

Connor Wins International IDTA ‘John Knight’ Award

Connor, our Head of Dance at Jaykays, has been awarded the prestigious ‘John Knight’ Award by the International Dance Teachers’ Association for achieving the highest Fellowship teaching exam result internationally in Contemporary Modern Jazz — a remarkable accomplishment and a proud moment for our entire school.

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate an incredible achievement by our very own Head of Dance, Connor, who has been awarded the prestigious ‘John Knight’ Award by the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA).

This award recognises the highest Fellowship teaching exam result internationally in Contemporary Modern Jazz this year — an outstanding accomplishment that reflects Connor’s exceptional dedication, technical excellence, and deep understanding of his craft.

Last month, Connor travelled to Blackpool to attend the official IDTA Congress, where he proudly accepted his award alongside leading professionals from across the global dance community. It was a truly special moment and a well-deserved recognition of years of commitment, training and passion.

At Jaykays, we are incredibly proud to have Connor as part of our teaching team. His expertise, professionalism and inspiring approach to dance enrich every class he teaches. Our students benefit not only from his high-level training and knowledge, but also from his enthusiasm, encouragement and commitment to helping every dancer reach their potential.

Achievements like this don’t just reflect individual success — they strengthen our entire school community and reinforce the high standards we are proud to uphold.

Please join us in congratulating Connor on this remarkable international achievement. 🥇👏
